Chelsea Piers Fitness is opening a state-of-the-art center with pool, five group fitness studios, in-club cafe, sauna and more at 265 Schermerhorn Street. The 52,000 square-foot facility will be the largest fitness club in Brooklyn.

Triathlon-focused swim training, aerobic exercise and private instruction will take place at the 3-lane, 75 foot pool. TRX, cycling, boot camp and boxing classes, yoga, Pilates and barre will be offered in the five studios. Locker rooms will be equipped with sauna and steam rooms and the communal space ties in to an in-club café. It will be an adult membership gym (no programming for kids) but babysitting services will be available.
