Common Core results 2017 for schools in our neighborhood

The annual Common Core results are out, 41% of New York City students passed the state English exams in 2017, this is up 2.6% from last year. City students also improved in math: 38% passed the math exams in 2017, 1.3% up from last year. This was the fifth year the state tests were aligned to the nationwide learning standards known as Common Core which tests students in Grades 3 to 8 in Math and English (ELA). Here is our overview of test results of public schools as well as Charter schools in Brooklyn Heights, DUMBO, Downtown Brooklyn, BoCoCa, Clinton Hill, Prospect Heights and Fort Greene.
