Pier 3 in Brooklyn Bridge Park will open this summer featuring a large central lawn, a whimsical labyrinth garden made up of hedges of varying sizes, and a multipurpose hardscape for events. The labyrinth will include seating, a massive echo game and walk-in kaleidoscope, and historic elements salvaged from the Park.
Brooklyn Bridge Park is currently seeking a builder for the Pier 2 Uplands project which is scheduled to open in 2020. The Pier 2 uplands will take over the paved area of the pop-up pool and will feature a large lawn, water garden and seating.
The boat house at Pier 5 will also open this summer featuring public restrooms, storage for boats and a space for community workshops and classes.
