Brooklyn Heights Halloween Parade: Bring your little ghouls and goblins to join in the fun and show off their best costumes! A bake sale will be held to benefit the Brooklyn Heights Playground Committee.

When: Saturday 10/26 at 10 am (rain date Sunday 10/27 at 10 am)

Where: Pierrepont Playground

Costs: Free

Families First Halloween Party: Fun crafts, Halloween costume portraits, live music, face painting and more.

When: Saturday 10/26 from 9.30 to 12 pm

Where: 250 Baltic Street between Court and Clinton

Costs: $15 per family

Monster Mash Dance Party at Moxie Spot:  Decorating trick-or-treat bags, dancing, costume contests, dance to Michael Jackson’s Thriller and more.

When: Saturday 10/26 from 6.30 to 8.30 pm

Where: Moxie Spot on Atlantic Avenue

Costs: $2.50 per child

Howl-O-Ween Doggie Costume Parade & Contest: Watch up to 50 dogs in costumes marching down the Brooklyn Height Promenade.

When: Sunday 10/27 from 1 to 3 pm

Where: Brooklyn Heights Promenade

PowerHouse Arena Kids Halloween Party: Get into the spooky spirit at The POWERHOUSE Arena’s Kids Halloween Party – it’ll be a day filled with scares ‘n stories!

When: Sunday 10/27 from 4 to 5 pm

Where: Bookstore PowerHouse Arena on 37 Main Street in DUMBO

Costs: Free

Free Halloween Yoga at Abhaya  Yoga: Spooky yoga in Halloween costumes for 3 to 9 year olds.

When: Tuesday 10/29 from 4 to 4.50 pm for 3 to 5 year olds; 5 – 5.50 pm for 6 to 9 year olds

Where: Abhaya Yoga on Jay Street in DUMBO

Costs: Free

Brooklyn Roasting Company Kids Halloween Party: Storytelling, live music and costume contest at Brooklyn Roasting Company followed by a live music parade from Jay Street, to Front and Main Street.

When: Thursday 10/31 from 4 to 5.30 pm

Where: Brooklyn Roasting Company on Jay Street in DUMBO

Costs: Free (including free hot chocolate and maple milk for the kids)

DISH Halloween Party: Music, dancing, free food & drinks as well as lots of candy at DUMBO’s new restaurant DISH.

When: Thursday 10/31 from 3 to 8 pm

Where: DISH 81 Washington Street

Costs: Free

Trick or Treating in DUMBO: Participating local retailers like Dewey’s Candy, Juliana’s, Jacques Torres, Dabney Lee, Westelm, Brooklyn Industries and many more will open their doors to costume-sporting children. Shop while your little one stocks up on candy!

Building Bridges Play Space Halloween Party: Come in costume, sing spooky songs, listen to Halloween stories and work on a Halloween arts project at the new indoor play space at Buiding Bridges Preschool.

When: Thursday 10/31 from 9 – 10.30 am & 10.45 am – 12.15 pm

Where: Building Bridges Preschool at 250 West Cadman Plaza

Costs: $20 per child

Halloween in the Archway: Art activities by Creatively Wild Arts Studio and a “Boothify” photobooth in DUMBO’ s archway

When: Thursday 10/31 from 3 – 6 pm

Where: Archway under the Manhattan Bridge

NY KIDS CLUB Spooktacular Halloween Celebration: Your little trick-or-treaters from 5 months to 6 years will decorate halloween pumpkins, participate in a thematic sing-a-long and decorate cupcakes. With a fang-tastic costume parade, special party favors, a photographer present to capture special moments, pizza for children and wine, beer and hors d’oeuvres for adults, you’ll have a scarily good time!

NY KIDS CLUB Trick or Treat and something sweet PJ party: Children aged 2.5 to 8 years will participate in a mummy relay, play Pass-the-Pumpkin, fly like witches and hunt for ghosts in the gym. Painting spider webs, going through a haunted house and dancing under a full moon will make this PJ party absolutely eerie-sistible! Pizza dinner and dessert are provided.
