Pastry and chocolatier school coming to DUMBO

Valrhona, a French chocolate brand that offers educational programs for pastry chefs and chocolatiers, is opening its first pastry school in the country on 220 Water Street in DUMBO. While construction of the institute on the corner of Bridge and Water Street is planed to be finished by mid-August, the team at Valrhona promises to be filling the air with delicious smells of pastry and chocolate very soon. They will offer hands-on classes like “variations in pastry design” and “macarons and petits fours” for professionals only at this new location.
