Brooklyn Bridge Park announced that the pop-up pool will be extended for one more season through September 2018. The temporary pop-up pool is located in the site of the future Pier 2 uplands where construction is expected to begin in the fall of 2018.
There are no concrete plans or funding in place to make a permanent pool real in Brooklyn Bridge Park. If you want to support efforts for a permanent pool, join the local group Love Our Pool on Facebook.
