The Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy has partnered with Target to build a temporary family play space at Pier 6 called Imagination Meadow. The centerpiece of this installation will be a large slide, which will be open to the public on Saturday and Sunday, the 23rd and 24th of July.
Target will also be providing other games and activities on the central section of Pier 6 during Saturday’s Family Field Day and Sunday’s Pier Kids programs on that weekend.
Pier 6 Family Field Day will take place on Saturday 7/23 from 10 am to 2 pm with activities for kids of all ages. You will be able to learn new volleyball skills, play bean bag toss, and explore the wonders of Pier 6.
Pier Kids @ Pier 6 will take place on Sunday 7/24 from 11 am to 1 pm. An interactive reading of Rex Finds an Egg! Egg! Egg! and You Must Be This Tall by author and illustrator Steven Weinberg will take place as well as arts & crafts with Private Picassos.
