Purim carnivals for the whole family in our neighborhood

 

Congregation Mount Sinai | 3/11

Celebrate Awards Season and Purim at CMS’s Purim extravaganza! Dress as your favorite movie star or character. They will have entertainment, a special interactive “White House Press Room Briefing” themed Megillah reading, fun programming and carnival games for children, and a sumptuous dinner and drinks. Prizes will be awarded to the best and most imaginative costumes. Sponsorship opportunities are still available. It will take place on Saturday March 11 at 7 pm at Congregation Mount Sinai at Cadman Plaza. RSVP [email protected] $50.00 per adult, children 12 & under no cost.

DUMBO Gan | 3/12

There will be a performance of jugglers, acrobats, and magic tumblers, face painting, masquerade, arts and crafts, interactive Megillah reading and more at the DUMBO Gan Purim Carnival. Doors open at 2 pm on Sunday March 12th at the Dumbo Loft at 155 Water Street, $25 per family. No need to RSVP, all are welcome. All who come in costume will automatically be entered into the raffle drawing!

Hannah Senesh Community Day School | 3/12

Join Hannah Senesh and IAC or a fun-filled Purim Festival on March 12th from 9 am to 12 pm featuring music performance, costume parade, arts & crafts: masks, crowns, groggers, face painting, and much more. 10:30 am “The Lion who Loved Strawberries” Special Interactive Performance. Hannah Senesh Community Day School is located at 342 Smith Street. Tickets are $5 here.

Heights Chabad | 3/12

Purim party with children’s carnival, megillah readings, balloon artist, face painting and more. Event will take place at the Heights Chabad at 117 Remsen Street on March 12th from 9.30 am to 6 pm. $50 per family.

Brooklyn Heights Synagogue | 3/12

Grab a grogger, put on a costume and join our littlest revelers for a child-friendly megillah reading at 11:30 am on Sunday March 12th! Then from 12 to 3 pm is the Purim Carnival with games, food, prizes and more! Free entry, game tickets for sale. All are welcome, no need to RSVP. Event will take place at the Brooklyn Heights Synagogue at 131 Remsen Street.
