Registration for Brooklyn Heights CSA open

You can now register for the 2017 season with Sweat Pea CSA in Brooklyn Heights. Members of the CSA receive a weekly or biweekly vegetable share consisting of approximately 7-12 items.  All the vegetables are certified organic by a third-party certifier and are brought fresh to the distribution site each week. Members can also choose to participate in shares of fruit, eggs, flowers, meat, cheese, bread, and beer.

Sweet Pea CSA is an all-volunteer organization, which means that all members are expected to volunteer their time at distributions to ensure that the CSA can operate.  Volunteering entails working at the pick-up location twice during the season for about two hours each time. Pick up is Wednesdays from 4.30 to 7.30 pm at First Unitarian Church on the corner of Monroe and Pierrepont Street.

Share season is 24 weeks, from June 7 through November 15.
