Mets Jam Music Festival: Join local NYC radio DJs for the Mets Jam Music Festival – a free event with live music and performances, Mets legends, sports games and activities, free swag and more taking place at Pier 2 on Saturday September 12th from 12 to 4 pm.

Block Party in DUMBO’s Archway: Essence Street Style block party with kids zone in the Archway! The party will feature a mix of music, fashion, art and culture, including live musical performances, a runway show, pop-up shops by local vendors and designers, local food trucks, face painting and Home Depot kid’s clinics in the Kids Zone! Sunday September 13th from 12 to 5 pm.

Kite Festival: Watch your kite soar above the Manhattan skyline during the annual Brooklyn Bridge Park Kite Festival at Pier 1 in Brooklyn Bridge Park on Saturday September 19th from 11 am to 3 pm.

Cranberry Street Fair: Pony rides, bake sale, pet parade, face painting, live music and more at the 44th annual Cranberry Street Fair. Will take place on Saturday, September 19 from 11am-3pm on Cranberry Street between Willow & Hicks.

“Adopt-A-Grandparent Street Carnival”: Cobble Hill Health Center is hosting a street carnival for children of all ages to adopt a grandparent. The event will feature free rides, refreshments, a marching band, pony ride, petting zoo (and more). The event is an opportunity for the broad based community to meet some of Cobble Hill’s residents and join their Adopt-a-Grandparent Program, which will pair people from the community with individual residents. It will take place from 11 am to 3 pm on September 20th on Congress Street between Hicks & Henry Street.

Brooklyn Book Festival Children’s Day: For it’s 10th Anniversary, the Brooklyn Book Festival presents a Children’s Day for children ages 2 – 11. Come enjoy authors and illustrators in readings, performances and workshops as they present cool new and beloved children’s books. Have fun with costumed characters, join music performances, and browse a Children’s Marketplace of booksellers, all in a beautiful urban park setting. September 19, 2015 from 10am to 4pm (rain or shine) at MetroTech Commons in Downtown Brooklyn.

BHA Dog Show: This year’s Brooklyn Heights Association’s Dog Show will take place on Saturday, September 26th from 2-4 pm in Cadman Park.

Atlantic Antic: The Atlantic Antic street fair will feature 16 live stages of music, dance and programming.  Atlantic Antic special zones will include a block long Kids Zone that features pony rides, bounce houses and many more children’s activities. The Atlantic Avenue street fair will take place on Sunday September 27th from 12 to 6 pm rain or shine.

Autumn Moon Festival: Sharing cultural and regional customs with children’s latern parade, traditional food, Chinese calligraphy, popcorn and cotton candy machines and more at Pier 1 in Brooklyn Bridge Park on September 26th from 10 am to 5 pm.
