The Green School’s country curriculum expands to urban Brooklyn Heights (sponsored)

The Green School Brooklyn is an offshoot of its founding school operating on a 5-acre farm in the Hamptons since 2009. Children discover, explore & learn through The Green School’s animal and multi-cultural based curriculum. Limitless learning opportunities abound through imaginative play in a nurturing environment, designed to cultivate each early learner’s development. Nurturing the whole child, The Green School is a preschool program centered on emotional, social and physical development.

Through hands on learning and integrated lessons they incorporate science, language arts, and math skills into activities like gardening, art, cooking/baking and animal care. Through a green curriculum, the importance of saving energy, recycling and composting is taught, and healthy eating habits are introduced through baking and snack time.
