Creatively WILD offers Camps for children all year round, during summer break Mondays-Fridays, and on school holidays and seasonal Holidays throughout the year. For the upcoming Spring break and Summer Art Camps they are offering their popular Art Camps as well as Animation Camps and Fashion Design Camps for Toddlers, Kids & Teens! The art studio is located at 33 Washington Street in DUMBO!
Art camps are action packed with inspiring projects for your child to enjoy! Painting, Drawing, Illustration, Cartooning, Manga, Found Object Art, Mixed Media & Collage and much more! Perfect for every child from the true beginner to the experienced young artist looking for a challenge. Your child will deepen his or her own artistic expression while immersed in a real art studio and Dumbo’s unrivaled creative arts community.
Creatively Wild also offers fashion design camp for all those fashionistas out there! Spend the day having fun and learning the fundamentals of fashion and walk away with your personal sense of style! Students delve into this glamorous world, learn basic sewing techniques and dabble in fashion illustration, sketching, fabric rendering, mood boards and working with different types of fabrics. Come to camp with a fashion magazine for inspiration!
In the new “Stop Motion” Animation Camp young creators have the opportunity to learn and create a stop motion animation clip according to an experienced animator’s instruction. Students will use paper, clay and a variety of other materials to create their stop-motion object. Each student will be guided through the steps of creating a stop-motion clip and will receive advise and constructive feedback from the animation instructor. *Each student will be asked to bring an iPhone or iPad to class. Please download the free app “Stop Motion Studio” prior to class, along with their own chargers. This camp is offered for 5-9 yrs and 10-17yrs.
You can book weekly camp sessions or drop-in for a day! Camp for 2 to 4 year old toddlers runs from 9.30 am to 11.30 am and costs $65 per day (weekly rates available). Camp for children 5 years and up run 9.30 am to 12.30 pm (half days) for $80 or 9.30 am to 3.30 pm (full days) for $150.
