Mathnasium has been a part of the community since 2011 when it opened its first location in Brooklyn on Atlantic Ave. Since then, it’s been recognized as a top performing center five years in a row. The same owners are now opening their second location on May 1st at the old Heights Kids space, 93 Pineapple Walk.
Mathnasium is a math-only learning center for students K-12. After conducting an assessment to determine how a student is performing based on national standards, a learning plan is assembled to address his/her specific needs. This is a very unique program for students that makes learning math fun and effective. They also offer homework help, SHSAT prep and Regents prep.
All families are invited to schedule a FREE assessment for their child. It is a great way for parents to, without obligation, identify gaps in their child’s math literacy and determine whether or not he or she is performing at grade level.
Mathnasium will be open Monday through Thursday 3pm-7pm, Friday 3pm-6pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. The center also offers summer programs which are a great way to get a head start on next year’s math and avoid the summer slide.
