Brooklyn Folk Festival family events April 6 – 8

The 10th annual Brooklyn Folk Festival at St. Ann’s Church in Brooklyn Heights will host a series of Sunday afternoon programs on April 8th. Smithsonian Folkways Recordings artists Elizabeth Mitchell and Suni Paz will perform together Sunday at 2:45pm. Sunday afternoon will also feature performances by the Jalopy Jr. Folk Stringband and Jalopy Jr. Folk Intermediate Ensemble Performance. In addition, there will be two square dances, Saturday at 4pm and Sunday at 4:45pm, both on the Parish Stage. Sunday also features a parade to the Banjo Toss area on the Gowanus Canal, which children are encouraged to join.
