Brooklyn Game Lab opening in DUMBO

The popular after school, camp and birthday party institution with locations in Park Slope and Tribeca is opening a space at 52 Bridge Street in DUMBO in February. Brooklyn Game Lab exposes kids ages 6 to 13 years to strategic board games, social role-playing and outdoor battling – all sorts of gaming without screens. In DUMBO, they will be co-located with The Automatic Studios which offers youth film programs and summer camps for professional filmmaking.

They will start running school break camps for winter and spring break (opening special $415 for 5 days) as well as after school programs with school pick-up from 3 to 6 pm Monday to Friday. They will also retail board games at their DUMBO location.

Stop by their launch party for families on Saturday, January 25th from 1 to 5 pm or find out more here! The Open House will highlight the various afterschool programs the Lab offers. At the free event, children and parents can visit various stations to play and learn about a variety of games — ranging from strategy (like Settlers of Catan) to drafting (like Sushi Go) and modern board games (like Pandemic)
