Construction kicks off on rebuild of BAM Park in Downtown Brooklyn

Work has begun on the “BAM Park” to rebuild and reopen the space to the public after a decades-long closure. The triangular 10,000-square foot park is located opposite BAM and bound by Fulton Street, Lafayette Avenue and St. Felix Place. The high fence around the park will be coming down – increasing accessibility to the park –, a raised deck will provide a seating area and all surrounding sidewalks will be replaced. The project is expected to be complete by Summer 2019.
