The schematics for the development at 85 Jay Street in DUMBO have been posted at the current parking lot. The 21-story building with a courtyard and two towers will feature 732 apartments, averaging 1,100 sq ft according to YIMBY, two swimming pools, outdoor lounges, grill areas, parking and retail spaces.
Permits have been approved and construction is expected to be finished by 2021.
The 732 units could generate additional 212 elementary school students* for PS 307, the lot’s zoned elementary school in Vinegar Hill.
Kushner Companies and partners will soon be opening a 4,0470-square-foot sales gallery at nearby 10 Jay Street.
