DUMBO had around 4,000 residents in 2012 and will have 40% more by 2016! We pulled together a figure of new residential units (condos & rentals) coming to DUMBO in the next 2 years which adds up to almost 700 new apartments. Assuming that every apartment will be occupied by at least 2 residents, DUMBO’s population will be around 5,500 by 2016.

– Dock Street = 290 apartments
– 200 Water Street = 15 apartments
– Pierhouse 1 = 108 apartments
– 177 Front Street = 105 apartments
– 1 John Street = 42 apartments
– 185 Plymouth Street = 10 apartment
= Total approx. 670 apartments*
