Two Trees Dock Street: The development with 290 rental units will be ready for occupancy in 2014, Two Trees will start leasing this fall. An updated rendering has been released. As the rendering shows, the 300-seat middle school runs along Front Street and Dock Street, with the residential buildings fronting on Dock and Water Streets.

53 Bridge Street: The illegal 5-story addition is being removed and the developer is moving forward with an office conversion, ground floor retail and parking for 17 cars.

177 Front Street: Construction has started for the new 12-story development with 105 rentals. The apartments will be one-, two-, and three-bedroom with public and private outdoor space, a doorman, a fitness center, a bike room. and a children’s playroom. They will probably lease for $2,000 to $3,000 per month. Some of the apartments will be designated affordable, and the building is set for completion in 2016.

10 Jay Street: An alteration permit that was filed in July for 10 Jay Street by ODA architects was disapproved by the city. However, major changes may be already in the works, as have tenants received letters that their leases could end 12/31/14.  The residential developer is Glacier Global Partners LLC, which is a New York based commercial real estate investment firm.
