SUMMARY:Celebrate Zak Kitnick’s, “Paintings for Children” at Nino Mier Gallery
DESCRIPTION:Nino Mier Gallery invites you to celebrate “Paintings for Children,” our upcoming exhibition with Zak Kitnick, on view in SoHo March 7 – April 4, 2026. Kitnick’s show features one hundred small paintings installed at the heights of two, three, and four-year-old children. Inspired by a set of Marimekko bed sheets the artist owned as a child and revisited as a new father, the paintings depict cars, trucks, and buses. A portion of all sales will be donated to Wide Rainbow, a New York City–based after-school arts program for children.We are hosting two family-friendly opening events with popcorn, cotton candy, and coloring on Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8 from 10AM to 3PM.
