Sunday Social | Brooklyn Heights | 10/14
The Montague Street BID hosts a street party on Montague Street on Sunday, October 14th from 11 am 6 pm. The Brooklyn Bridge Parents kids zone will feature a bouncy castle, ninja obstacle course, face painting, photo booth, a block building party and much more. There will be bucket drumming, a performance by the award-winning PS 307 cheerleading team Brooklyn Diamonds and more live music. Find out more here.
Harvest Hang | Brooklyn Navy Yard | 10/20
Join the Brooklyn Navy Yard for a fun afternoon of pumpkin picking, face-painting, costume-making, and more! Yard-based businesses in the fields of costume design, fabrication, design, and entertainment will transform the BLDG 92 forecourt into a harvest takeover that is perfect for visitors of all ages! Haunted marsh, pumpkin patch, arts and crafts, face painting, music, and games await at this year’s Harvest Festival! Event will take place on Saturday, October 20th from 11 am to 2 pm at Pier 6.
Kids Soccer | Pier 5 | Sundays in October
St Francis College hosts free soccer for ages 3 to 9 on Sundays in October one hour before their official games at Pier 5 in Brooklyn Bridge park. Perk: Kids can guide soccer plays on the field before games start. October 7 from 11 am to 12 pm, October 14 from 12 to 1 pm, October 21 from 12 to 1 pm, October 27 from 1 to 2 pm. No need to RSVP, just show up.
