Amazing Athletes & Soccer Stars Camps and Classes | Prospect Park & Cadman Plaza

Program Details: Super Soccer Stars is Brooklyn’s #1 youth soccer program for over 20 years! We use the ball to help children not only improve soccer skills, but develop self-confidence, teamwork, and socialization skills. Certified coaches work in small groups using an age-specific curriculum, providing each player with individual attention. Beam Camp | Strafford, New Hampshire

Program: Beam Camp is a summer sleep away camp in Strafford, NH that focuses on skill-building, collaborative challenge, agency and mentorship. At Beam Camp, campers and staff come together to build spectacular projects, which helps us explore what it means to make things with our own bodies and brains and how that kind of creativity is relevant and applicable to everything in our lives. Each summer, Beam Camp commissions a unique large-scale Project, ranging from the conceptual to the structural, which is then built by teams of campers and staff. In addition to the large project, each Camper also designs a personal Independent Work project which they create over the course of the session. We transform ideas into artifacts and personal achievement into community success. We also have a lot of fun.

Brooklyn Heights Montessori School Summer Camp | Cobble Hill

Program Details: A Montessori Summer is open to children from all schools ages 3-5. The camp programming will include Montessori activities, science, arts and crafts, music, and drama. Whether they are inside our cool and air-conditioned Montessori classrooms, on the rooftop playground, or on our outdoor turf field, Montessori campers are always under the experienced care and guidance of our staff of summer camp teachers. Brooklearn Summer Camp | Carroll Gardens 

Program Details: Feel good dropping your 2-5 year old off at Brooklearn for some summer fun. Early educated camp counselors will incorporate adventure in the indoor play space, outdoor exploration at close-by Carroll Park, music, art and team building activities for a camp experience children will truly enjoy.  Sometimes children need to take a break from the scorching NYC heat and when they need that break- it’s time to visit Brooklearn.  Spend a day, week or the whole summer with us.  Some of our weekly themes include, “Imagine, Dress up and Play,” “It’s the Pirates Life for Me!” And “Mini Sports Camp”.  This camp has been designed with our youngest learners in mind, and will truly engage and excite them with each day.

Brooklyn Bridge Fencing Club | Dumbo

Program details: Our summer fencing day camps are both a great introduction to the sport of fencing for children who have never fenced before and a way for more experienced fencers to improve their skills. They are designed to teach fencing through activities, games, and exercises that develop coordination, flexibility, and focus. Attendees will have lots of fun learning and improving at a great sport! All camps are taught by Brooklyn Bridge Fencing Club coaches, including Olympic- and World Championship-medal-winning coach and owner Dan Kellner, national-medal-winning coach, NCAA All-American, and Junior National Champion, Henry Kennard, José Samora, Dominican Republic National Team Member and Central American Games Bronze Medalist, plus other special guests!

Brooklyn Nets Basketball Academy | Various locations

Program: Join the #1 Summer Camp in the NBA! Brooklyn Robot Foundry Summer Camp | Gowanus

Program: Make it a summer of creativity and fun at Brooklyn Robot Foundry! Kids will have a blast building really cool robots and enjoying tons of other fun activities within each of the weekly themes. They will also be playing games, enjoying choice time, and having lots of movement breaks and park adventures (as weather permits).

Program: Camp Half-Blood is a fully immersive camp experience designed for children in 2nd to 7th grade. On their journey toward becoming legends, campers (AKA Demigods) learn sword-training, armor forging, myth-crafting, storytelling and more–all with the goal of unleashing the hero inside them.

Program: The Double Daring Camp for Girls presents Daring Girls: Adventures in Mythology. Program:  Let’s get hands-on with science again this summer! Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory’s DNA Learning Center (DNALC) invented summer DNA camps, and we are pleased to announce that 2022 summer camp registration is open!  We invite students entering grades 6–12 to attend fun and challenging weeklong camps at the DNALC NYC – our new 17,500 square foot facility in downtown Brooklyn. Guided by experienced instructors, students use sophisticated laboratory techniques and online DNA analysis tools to perform experiments several grade levels ahead of their peers. JCC Brooklyn Summer Day Camp | Bay Ridge

Program: Based on our Outdoor(Indoor) Bay Ridge Campus, the JCC Brooklyn Summer Day Camp tries to encompass the feeling of an overnight camp in a day camp setting. Program: The Kane Street Kids Summer Program is open to all neighborhood children. Kids will enjoy water play on our rooftop playground, a large indoor playground for rainy or super hot days, arts & crafts, sports, cooking and more!  Our wonderful teachers ensure an awesome experience for our young campers.

KoKo NYC Soap Box Camp and Mini Destroy & Construct Camp | Gowanus

Program: KoKo NYC is an art-based science and engineering program for kids. In our week-long summer programs we challenge kids to think like inventors and empower them to see value in their creative ideas by facilitating the exploration of their curiosity through hands-on projects. Over the course of our workshops, participants turn recycled materials into functional machines and sculptures while learning about construction and design and, more importantly, having fun.

Maker and Artist Studio | Carroll Gardens

Program:  Kids love to make! We give them the space and materials. We invite kids to join Maker and Artist Studio at Little Brooklyn Playschool this summer for sewing, crafting, and fun! At our week long project based maker camps kids ages 5-7 will sew, craft, and create in the studio making scrunchies, jewelry, bags, hair clips, stuffies and more! When not creating and crafting kids will play in the sprinkler, enjoy the beautiful private outdoor playspace, and play!! No prior sewing or crafting experience necessary. Kids will get the amount of adult help needed to support their individual skill and confidence level.

Aegir Skating and Arts Camp | DUMBO

Program: Aegir Boardworks offers skate camps for kids 4 and up at Brooklyn’s Golconda Park, aka “Fat Kid”. Our team of skate instructors are all local skaters that are passionate about teaching kids and adults how to skate. LIU Summer Sports Camps | Downtown Brooklyn

Program: This summer young athletes will have the chance to participate in week-long athletic camps designed to connect them with NCAA Division I coaches to learn fundamentals and help improve their skills — all while having fun and making lifelong friends. Camps are open to children in grades 2 – 8 at any skill level. Select from 16 sports at one of our two campus locations in Brooklyn or Long Island.

NYCFC Soccer Camp | Red Hook

Program: NYCFC Soccer Camps offer week-long programs to players seeking to develop in all aspects of the game in a fun and competitive playing environment. Our camps involve a wide range of game-related activities that encourage players to be creative and confident on the ball.
NYCFC youth coaches provide expert coaching to players with age-appropriate learning objectives from a curriculum specifically designed by NYCFC Youth Programs & Academy staff to enhance player development. Our curriculum focuses on creativity and confidence on the ball in game-related situations to improve decision-making and movement; with small-sided games to expand each player’s understanding of the phases of play.

Park Slope Day Camp | Various locations

Program: Our campers spend the majority of their days out-of-doors.  We offer a variety of traditional camp activities like sports, drama, music, martial arts, archery, dance, and arts and crafts.  It’s no wonder parents tell us that their children come home dirty, tired, hungry and happy!  As a “mobile” camp, we take advantage of everything Brooklyn and the surrounding areas have to offer. We go everywhere from Prospect Park to local beaches and ball games. Parsons Summer Academy | Greenwich Village

Program: Parsons Summer Academy offers a variety of dynamic in-person non-credit art and design courses for students in grades 3 through 12, including specialized art and design portfolio development courses for students in grades 9-12. Join us for two weeks in August at our Greenwich Village campus to explore art and design through hands-on projects that develop your creative thinking skills, techniques, and collaborative abilities. Tutu School Summer Camp | Boerum Hill

Program: Imagine spending fun filled camp days exploring the enchanted and enriching world of ballet!  On any given day at Tutu Camp, a child might take a ballet class, decorate costumes, learn the story of a famous ballet, or even take part in a production of their own creation.  Each of our camp sessions focuses on a different ballet story from the classical repertoire, and favorites include: Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Coppelia, and Cinderella. Campers do not need to have prior ballet experience to participate, but they should be prepared for a lot of leaping, twirling, and imaginative adventures.  Personal prop packs and a t-shirt are included with the camp fee.
