We are hosting our first Free Middle School Fair with public and independent middle schools in Brooklyn and lower Manhattan. Find out about many different middle school programs in one evening!
Admissions directors and representatives from public and independent schools in Brooklyn and Manhattan will provide information about their middle school programs, the admissions process, academics, social-emotional learning and challenges during middle school, languages, financial aid and more. The following schools will present their programs: BASIS Independent Brooklyn, Boerum Hill School for International Studies, Blue School, Brooklyn Friends, Brooklyn Heights Montessori School, Brooklyn Independent, Dock Street School, Fort Greene Prep, MS 915 (former MS 8), Pine Street School and Poly Prep. There will be a Q&A following the presentations. The event is geared towards parents with children born in 2009, 2010 and 2011 living in District 13 and 15.
The event will take place on Thursday, November 19 from 6 to 8 pm. Zoom link will be sent out 60 minutes in advance and a recording of the event will be shared with ticket holders afterwards.
