Park Slope Tree Lighting | 11/30
Santa, glitter tattoos, treats, Santa and live music during the tree lighting ceremony at 5th Avenue and 4th Street in Park Slope on Saturday, 11/30 from 6 to 7 pm.
Light up the Holidays at MetroTech | 12/4
Light up the holidays – and Brooklyn’s tallest Christmas Tree – at MetroTech Commons in Downtown Brooklyn. Celebrate with Santa, live ice carving and performances, as well as treats on Wednesday, 12/4 from 5 to 6.30 pm.
DUMBO Holiday Tree Lighting | 12/5
The DUMBO Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony with Santa Claus, caroling, calypso music, toy drive, and more will take place on Thursday, 12/5 from 4 to 7 pm. Tree will be lit at 6 pm sharp! This free event will take place in the Pearl Street triangle in DUMBO.
Brooklyn Borough Hall Tree Lighting | 12/5
Christmas Tree Lighting @ Grand Army Plaza | 12/5
This year, the Diocese of Brooklyn’s Christmas Tree will be lit on Thursday, December 5 at 5 pm at the Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Memorial Arch at Grand Army Plaza. The tree will remain lit 24/7 in red lights—the only such tree in NYC—until January 2019. This annual tradition of displaying the Christmas Tree and Nativity Creche brings the spirit and joy of the Christmas season to Prospect Park and the Brooklyn community.
Atlantic Avenue Tree Lighting @ Boerum Hill | 12/5

Thomas Greene Park Holiday Tree Lighting | 12/6
The Holiday Tree Lighting with special appearance by Santa Claus at Thomas Greene Park will take place on Friday, December 6th from 4 to 6 pm. Park is located in Gowanus at 3rd Avenue and Douglass Street.
Carroll Park Holiday Tree Lighting | 12/7
Join Friends of Carroll Park, friends, neighbors, and maybe even a fat man in a red suit when we flip the switch on our holiday decor! Saturday
Fort Greene Park Holiday Tree Lighting | 12/8
FREE hot cocoa, cider & cookies from local Myrtle Ave restaurants during the Fort Greene Park tree lighting on Sunday 12/8 from 4 to 5 pm. Selfies with Santa! Toy drive collection. Bring new, unwrapped toys to support toy drives that serve local families. Live holiday music. Lighting of the tree at 4:45pm! The lighting this year will take place at the northwest corner of Fort Greene Park, near the Myrtle Ave & St Edwards St entrance.
Get Festive with Santa @ Atlantic Terminal Mall| 12/12
Get Festive at Atlantic Terminal Mall at 139 Flatbush Avenue on Thursday, December 12th from 5 to 7 PM! Life-size snow globe photo op, live music, selfies with Santa, Winter Wonderland community art & much more!
NYPD 84th Precinct Santa @ various locations | 12/5 – 12/22
Kids can take free pictures with Santa who arrives in a NYPD car! The 84th Precinct will stop in various neighborhoods throughout December including DUMBO, Cobble Hill and Boerum Hill.
No Brooklyn Heights Holiday Tree Lighting this year due to scaffolding at the Promenade.
