Registration open for Brooklyn Heights and DUMBO CSA

Brooklyn Heights CSA

You can now register for the 2018 season with Sweat Pea CSA in Brooklyn Heights. CSA members receive weekly or biweekly distributions of fresh, organic, local vegetables from June 6 through November 14.  Members can also choose to add fruit, eggs, flowers, meat, cheese or bread. A typical vegetable share includes 7-8 items per week.

Sweet Pea CSA is an all-volunteer organization, which means that all members are expected to volunteer their time at distributions to ensure that the CSA can operate.  Volunteering entails working at the pick-up location twice during the season for about two hours each time. Pick up is Wednesdays from 4.30 to 7.30 pm at 50 Monroe Place.

Brooklyn Bridge CSA

Registration for the 2018 season is open for the Brooklyn Bridge CSA in Brooklyn Heights. CSA members receive organic, fresh, and local vegetables from June 6 through November 14 in either weekly or biweekly pick ups.  Members can also choose to add a prepared foods share, fruit, or cheese shares. A typical vegetable share includes 8-12 items per week.

The Brooklyn Bridge CSA is a volunteer based organization, this means all members sign up for to work two 2 hour shifts at distribution throughout the season.  Pick up is Wednesdays from 5.00 to 8.00 pm at First Presbyterian Church, 124 Henry St.

DUMBO Vinegar Hill CSA

You can now sign-up for this year’s 25 week CSA season from June 6 to November 15 with weekly vegetables, fruit, cheese, and ready to eat products. Each member is required to staff two pickup shifts per season. Pick-up is Wednesdays from 5 to 7.45 pm at Randolph Beer in DUMBO Heights. Find out more here.
