The Macy’s 4th of July fireworks will be a 25-minute-long display starting at around 9:25 pm and use more than 65,000-shells launched from five barges stationed on the East River centered around Midtown Manhattan. Keep your eyes open for some of this year’s showpiece elements: Whistling Jellyfish, Little Snakes, Blinking Smiling Face, Swimming Chrysanthemums & more.
The following locations are not recommended for viewing: Brooklyn Bridge Park, Brooklyn Heights Promenade, Brooklyn Grand Ferry Park and Domino Park in Williamsburg.
