Designed for caregivers and babies ages newborn through new walkers, We Dance: Postpartum merges the rhythm and fun of dance class with a dancer’s understanding of how to move in physically healthy ways. Program Details: A longtime New York Family Favorite, Ramblin’ Dan’s Freewheelin’ Band provides high energy and engaging music classes driven by playful musicality and skillful guitar work. Our priorities are having fun, providing a pressure-free and comforting atmosphere, and helping kids gain confidence.

Program Details: Tam Tam is dedicated to building a community that connects families through live, participatory music-making. In Tam Tam’s award-winning classes your child gets to have fun learning the basics of music in an age-appropriate atmosphere. We offer 5 convenient indoor and outdoor locations, classes on weekdays and weekends, mornings and afternoons, unlimited makeups, beloved teachers, and 12 different song collections. In every 45-minute class we model the joy of informal musical play, make the songs our own, sing in a pitch register accessible to children, and include everyone’s suggestions for singing and movement. Our Music Together curriculum is research-based and emphasizes adult participation and education about early childhood musical milestones that are easy to miss. From catchy tunes to rhythmic chants, lively dances and fun instrument jams, we get immersed in a rich tapestry of musical styles, scales, rhythms, and languages, fostering a love of music that lasts a lifetime. It’s a musical journey that’s as diverse and vibrant as our beloved Brooklyn community!
Ages: Classes for babies are 0-8 months; mixed-aged classes are 0-5 years

Locations: Both indoor and outdoor classes are offered in Fort Greene and Bed Stuy. Classes are held in Fort Greene Park and 138 South Oxford Street in Fort Greene. In Bed Stuy, indoor classes are at 1060 Bedford Avenue and The Lost and Found BK at 452 Gates Avenue. Outdoor classes in Bed Stuy are in Herbert von King Park.

Classes for Babies @ Treasure Trunk Theatre | Brooklyn Heights & Park Slope
Program Details: Treasure Trunk Theatre hosts creative classes for children of all ages, including storytelling classes for babies and their caregivers. Newborns and infants are welcome to join Sing Along Adventure, Free Storytime and Open Playgroup for Babies and Toddlers. Classes are offered at various times throughout the week at both the Brooklyn Heights and Park Slope locations. Click here to register.
