Aegir Skate Camp | DUMBO

Program: Aegir Skate Camps take place at Golconda Playground year-round during school breaks. We teach students ages 4 and up, beginners and intermediates alike, how to skate while creating an exciting, friendly, loose camp environment that emphasizes socializing, community, and, of course, fun. We offer a Half Day Camp (9am to noon), a Full Day Skate Camp for intermediate students (9am to 3pm), a Full Day Skate and Art camp for kids under 6 (9am to 3pm), and a Full Day Skate and Art camp for kids 6+ with our friends at DUMBO’s award-winning Creatively Wild Arts Studio. BASIS Independent Brooklyn Summer Camp | Downtown Brooklyn

Program: BASIS Independent Brooklyn Day Camp is a 9 week fun filled adventure, that puts the camper experience at the center of our activities and programming. Our weekly themes and field trips are a fundamental part of our camp structure and experience. Each week, campers will explore different topics through an array of activities, building confidence, new skills, and amazing friendships along the way. In addition, weekly field trips encourage campers to explore the local community, find new interests, and deepen their cultural understandings. All weeks of camp culminate in Special Event Fridays such as our camp-wide Carnival and Color Games field day competition.

Beam Camp | New Hampshire

Program: Beam Camp is an overnight summer program for campers aged 9-17, and of all genders and identities. Located in Strafford, New Hampshire, Beam Camp offers two summer sessions: one two weeks long and one four weeks long. During both of these sessions, Beam kids learn to make their ideas happen through fine and manual arts, technology, and collaboration. Every summer, campers work together on the spectacular Beam Project and engage with our full-time and visiting staff of professional architects, videographers, builders, engineers, designers, and makers of all kinds. Our campers learn the tools, techniques, and temperaments of creation to apply to their own plots, plans, and schemes, as well as swim, hike, play games, and enjoy 750 acres of mountain, forests, and lakes while transforming ideas into artifacts and personal achievement into community success.

Program: Searching for a fun summer program for your 3-5 year old? Join Brooklyn Heights Synagogue Summer Camp from June 17 through August 2 for an exciting new adventure each week. Bouldering Project Summer Adventure Weeks | Gowanus

Program: Help your kids reach new heights! Our climbing programs teach kids skills like resilience, problem-solving, camaraderie, and calculated risk taking—all while tapping into their love of adventure. Summer Adventures are available to youth ages 5-12 and offer plenty of climbing challenges and social time, in addition to S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) activities, team-building exercises, and more. Adventure Weeks are a full week in duration, Mon-Fri, and run from 9 am-3:30 pm.

Brooklyn Debate League Summer Camp | Financial District

Program: The Brooklyn Debate League brings together kids from across the city to speak their minds on important topics. Learn how to navigate arguments and convince people, then bring those skills to your classrooms, your next interview, or even your family. If you’re the type to test yourself (and impress colleges) then we’ll show you how to compete in tournaments. Our staff has won state and national championships, so you’d learn from the best!

Program: This summer Brooklyn Music Factory is once again back in action for a unique–and totally rocking!–camp experience. At Brooklyn Music Factory’s summer camp, kids ages 4-11 join bands and spend their days writing songs, playing music games, and more in our fully equipped studios. In addition, campers enjoy free time at the park every day, getting lots of fresh air and physical activity. On Fridays, the bands perform their original songs for one another, and the performances are live-streamed and recorded to share with friends and family!

Program: Explore creativity, and discover new passions this summer at Camp CinemaKidz!  Dive into the creative world of film, animation, and media arts this summer.  Each week-long theme explores a unique, fun-filled topic where kids can learn, explore, collaborate, and create with their peers.  Create and star in your very own cooking show, become an illustrator and digital animator; design costumes, sets, and props in Art Direction, or try your hand at building and filming a Rube Goldberg machine – days are jam packed with activities, as well as fun outdoor games and water sports.  Get creative this summer and explore the world of media arts in a hands-on atmosphere!

Dance in Prospect Park | Prospect Park

Program: This camp is an opportunity to explore and learn the basic steps of different dance styles. Our goal is to develop a connection to dance, music, sports, and increase confidence in children. We will perform exercises for the proper development of the spine, feet, flexibility, and overall body posture. We will dance, practice yoga, develop good balance, do arts & crafts, have story time, play theater games as well as participate in daily outdoor activities, but mostly have FUN!

Red Hook Soccer Camps | Red Hook

Program: Red Hook Soccer Clinics is excited to announce their 2024 Summer Camp schedule, starting June 3rd and ending July 26th. All experience ages 7+ are welcome. Program: Summer Camp at Smith Street is a wonderful way to support French language acquisition, spend time outdoors, connect with our teachers in a relaxed atmosphere and meet new friends!

Program: Get ready for an unforgettable week of art, discovery and friendship at UrbanGlass in Fort Greene, Brooklyn! Spring and summer camps for rising middle and high school students highlight the magical material properties and endless creative possibilities of glass. The Wonder Kids Summer Camps | Prospect Park

Program: The Wonder Kids Summer Camps are unique day and week-long camps based on immersive-theater adventures that take place in the most magical places of Prospect Park. They provide an unforgettable, life-long experience for curious kids. Each day of “Adventures with Gaia” is a fantastic immersive adventure in which The Wonder Kids embark on a real and imaginative journey into the park completing creative missions that help them connect with nature, each other, and themselves. We also invite excellent artists to share their forms of creative expression with the Wonder Kids. Poets, philosophers, musicians, visual artists and social innovators become real characters in our adventures, infusing portions of our journey with their wonder.

World Explorers Group | Fort Greene

Program: World Explorers Group is an outward bound camp that takes campers on excursions all over the New York City Area, all centered around a weekly camp theme.  We provide breakfast, lunch and snacks, as well as a camper kit, which includes a backpack, camp t-shirts and binoculars.

Ages: 2 yrs – 5th Grade

Writing in the Sun | Virtual or In-Home

Program: In this six session program, students will read personal essays, and get ahead on college applications by developing their own based on their experience. I will provide notes and constructive feedback as they edit their pieces. Sessions are one hour long, and will include at least three written notes sent via email between sessions as they edit. The personal essay for college can be a daunting, but also an exciting exercise. These essays are an opportunity for students to tell their story from their perspective, to frame and hone their experience in a way that is meaningful to them and expresses their attributes in interesting ways. 

Ages: 15-18

Camp dates: June 15-July 15, August 15-25 (depending on student’s schedule)

Camp hours: Varies based individual tutoring sessions
