78 Youth Sports | Various Locations in Brooklyn
Program details: 78 Youth Sports offers opportunities for co-ed players at all skill levels and ages 5-17 to play basketball.The Basketball Program is divided into two parts: 78 Youth Sports offers co-ed Basketball Fundamentals for ages 5-14, in which players learn the basics of the game. The program takes place on weekends in three sessions: September – November, December – February, and March – May. “Rec” Basketball for ages 7-17 includes games. Registration starts in August, with mandatory player evaluation in October, team assignments in November, and games every weekend December – March, with playoffs in March.

Program details: Asphalt Green offers a variety of youth basketball programs, including instructional group classes and recreational leagues. Aviator Youth Basketball Program | Marine Park
Program details: Aviator’s Youth Basketball Program molds young players into stars. Our Youth Development Basketball Program provides top-notch basketball classes designed to challenge each player’s skills and abilities. Our coaches emphasize the fundamentals and they work with every player to improve their all-around basketball skills. Basketball City | Lower East Side
Program details: Basketball City (at Pier 36) is a 70,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art Sports & Entertainment facility, which contains seven air-conditioned basketball courts with glass backboards, electronic scoreboards, automated video system and first-class locker rooms. Basketball City runs a youth development program, which is dedicated to small group instruction and real full-court game situations. Basketball City staff includes former and current NCAA Division I and professional players as well as high school and college coaches. Basketball City also offers youth clinics, school break camps, summer camps, 1 on 1 training, shooting training, and more. They even host birthday parties!

Program details: At Brooklyn Basketball Academy (BBA), we teach students how to reach their highest potential on and off the court through intense training sessions, special programs, leagues, games, and community activations. BBA has a Travel Team and In House League for both boys and girls, as well as Intro to Basketball classes for novice students. Program details: Recommended for ages 7-17, join Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy for free 2-hour basketball clinics led by KING Hoops, NYC’s premier youth basketball organization. Program details: C.A.L.F. (Courageous Athletic Lifestyle Forever) Industries was first established in 2012, focusing on elevating confidence, ability and life skillsets of young talented individuals in sports. C.A.L.F. serves as a mentorship program designed to increase in-person engagement through mind-obstacle games, physical activity, fitness, agility and dance. Founder Michael Barnes (Coach Mike) has been serving the Williamsburg & Greenpoint community for over 5 years, providing after-school programs, summer camps at McCarren Park and a Saturday Sports Clinics (Basketball & Soccer) called CALF SUNRISE. The CALF SUNRISE program at MS 50 Middle School was designed to increase fitness, agility and basketball skillsets. Players engage in workout style drills, stations, and mini-league games allowing opportunity to apply learning, fine-tune skills, and compete with or against their friends. With over 15 years of coaching & playing experience, Coach Mike has designed unique sport curriculums combined with team building activities and workouts for children ages 6 – 16. Program details: Eagle E Fitness is a program that focuses on improving children’s confidence through sports and leadership. Eagle E Fitness helps youth grow in athletics, social skills, as well as self-love and team work. Eagle E Fitness was founded in 2018 by Erin Jones, a young female coach whose dream is to change the world for the better, one step at a time. Eagle E Fitness provides programs such as basketball classes and clinics, where our student athletes can develop their fundamental skills. In these programs they will partake in specific training, competitive drills and scrimmages. Eagle E Fitness also offers private lessons, camps & clinics, family sport programs, and private group lessons. Program details: Founded by Peter Panousopoulos, Parkway is a basketball organization and community based in Brooklyn, NY. We provide a basketball program and experience that aims to be second-to-none—with a trusted reputation of growth and success. Program details: SFX Youth Sports is a volunteer-led organization in Brooklyn providing sports programs focusing on skills and teamwork. Our programs teach fundamental skills while promoting teamwork, good sportsmanship and respect for all. SFX Youth Sports offers a Fall Skills Clinics as well as a recreational Winter Basketball League for ages 7-17 of all skill levels and experience. Steady Buckets | Various Locations in Lower Manhattan
Program details: Steady Buckets is an inclusive and innovative basketball and leadership development program, FREE for ALL kids aged 4-18. The program’s objective is to develop hard working, resilient, empathetic, and confident individuals who will make a positive contribution to their communities. Workouts are held 7 days per week and open for all players with special workouts offered for players younger than 4th grade, girls only and players on the autism spectrum. Since 2010, over 20,000 players have participated in our fun and challenging workouts. Along the way we discovered a better approach to playing youth sports which minimizes adult involvement while empowering children to be leaders and take ownership of the game. Steady Buckets offers daily classes, an All-Youth Basketball League, and a program for players with Autism Spectrum Disorder. They also have one-day holiday camps and summer camps.
