Hoops Academy | Clinton Hill 

Program details: New York Hoops Academy is a premier basketball training and development organization dedicated to helping athletes of all ages and skill levels improve their basketball skills and achieve their goals on and off the court. At Hoops Academy, we are more than a basketball destination; we are a community where aspiring players thrive and reach their full potential. 78 Youth Sports | Various Locations in Brooklyn

Program details: 78 Youth Sports offers opportunities for co-ed players at all skill levels and ages 5-17 to play basketball!  It’s fast-paced and tons of fun! Our Basketball Program is divided into two parts: Through research and our own experience, we know that developing young players before they play in a league helps breed success now and later. This is why we offer fundamental training for our youngest players! 78 Youth Sports offers Basketball Fundamentals for ages 5-8, in which players learn the basics of the game. “Rec” Basketball for ages 7-17 includes games.

Seasons: Rec Basketball season is December-March. Basketball Fundamentals has three sessions: September-November, December-February, March-May. Basketball Academy clinics take place in the summer and during school holidays.

Asphalt Green | Battery Park City

Program details: Asphalt Green offers a variety of youth basketball programs, including instructional group classes and recreational leagues. Programs include Developmental Basketball Academies, Recreational Basketball Leagues, Private Basketball Lessons, Basketball Camps & Clinics, and Travel Basketball for ages 8-16.

Aviator Youth Basketball Program | Marine Park

Program details: Aviator’s Youth Basketball Program molds young players into stars. Our Youth Development Basketball Program provides top-notch basketball classes designed to challenge each player’s skills and abilities. Our coaches emphasize the fundamentals and they work with every player to improve their all-around basketball skills. Through ongoing instruction, players turn their enthusiasm for basketball into a love for the game.

Basketball City | Lower East Side

Program details: Basketball City (at Pier 36) is a 70,000 sq. ft. “state-of-the-art” Sports & Entertainment facility, which contains seven air-conditioned basketball courts with glass backboards, electronic scoreboards, automated video system and first-class locker rooms. Basketball City runs youth leagues, youth clinics and summer camps.

Program details: Andre Howard (Coach Dre) is a former international pro athlete who offers group basketball classes, private sessions, and much more. Coach Dre’s small group clinics introduce young athletes to new skills, drills, and basketball-related games and challenges. Brooklyn Basketball Game Day Clinics | Barclays Center 

Program details: Brooklyn Basketball is a community-first basketball experience supported by the Brooklyn Nets, along with New York Liberty. Their goal is to grow the game for participants of all ages through professionally led clinics and camps, community-focused events, instructional videos, unique basketball content, and much more. Currently, young players can sign up for Brooklyn Nets Game Day Clinics at Barclays Center. These clinics are held on the arena floor where the Brooklyn Nets play their games!

Brooklyn Basketball Summer Camps | Brooklyn College

Program details: Brooklyn Basketball Camps is the official youth basketball program of the Brooklyn Nets. With professional instruction in a fun environment, we offer players of all skill levels the opportunity to learn basketball and advance their skills. Brooklyn Basketball is committed to serving our players and participants by providing memorable experiences. Brooklyn Basketball Academy | Gowanus & Industry City

Program details: At Brooklyn Basketball Academy (BBA), we teach students how to reach their highest potential on and off the court through intense training sessions, special programs, leagues, games, and community activations. BBA has a Travel Team and In House League for both boys and girls, as well as Intro to Basketball classes for novice students. Brooklyn Bridge Park Summer Youth Basketball | Brooklyn Heights

Program details: Recommended for ages 7-17, join Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy for free 2-hour basketball clinics led by KING Hoops, NYC’s premier youth basketball organization. Learn basketball basics as head coaches lead participants through drills and games. Clinics will take place at Pier 2 this summer, dates TBD. Brooklyn Swarm | Marine Park

Program details: The leading club basketball program in the Tri-State, Powered by Under Armour, Brooklyn Swarm hosts teams for boys and girls grades 3rd – 12th. Brooklyn Swarm operates out of the Aviator Sports Complex in Brooklyn, NY.  Our program offers teams, camps, and clinics year-round and is operated by local college and high school coaches.

Levels: Teams for all skill levels, typically more than one team at each grade level. Tryouts required.

C.A.L.F. Industries | Williamsburg & Greenpoint

Program details: C.A.L.F. (Courageous Athletic Lifestyle Forever) Industries was first established in 2012, focusing on elevating confidence, ability and life skillsets of young talented individuals in sports. C.A.L.F. serves as a mentorship program designed to increase in-person engagement through mind-obstacle games, physical activity, fitness, agility and dance. Founder Michael Barnes (Coach Mike) has been serving the Williamsburg & Greenpoint community for over 5 years, providing after-school programs, summer camps at McCarren Park and a Saturday Sports Clinics (Basketball & Soccer) called CALF SUNRISE. The CALF SUNRISE program at MS 50 Middle School was designed to increase fitness, agility and basketball skillsets. Players engage in workout style drills, stations, and mini-league games allowing opportunity to apply learning, fine-tune skills, and compete with or against their friends. With over 15 years of coaching & playing experience, Coach Mike has designed unique sport curriculums combined with team building activities and workouts for children ages 6 – 16. Program details: Since 1995, Dribbl has stood out as a fun recreational program for young athletes who want to learn fundamental basketball skills in a positive and supportive environment. With a loyal following of New York City- and Hamptons-based families who return year after year for its experienced staff and high coach-to-player ratio, Dribbl now enrolls more than 1,000 families each year. The program was proudly named Best Basketball Clinic in New York magazine’s annual “Best of New York” issue. Eagle E Fitness | Park Slope

Program details: Eagle E Fitness is a program that focuses on improving children’s confidence through sports and leadership. Eagle E Fitness helps youth grow in athletics, social skills, as well as self-love and team work. Eagle E Fitness was founded in 2018 by Erin Jones, a young female coach whose dream is to change the world for the better, one step at a time. Eagle E Fitness provides programs such as basketball classes and clinics, where our student athletes can develop their fundamental skills. In these programs they will partake in specific training, competitive drills and scrimmages. Eagle E Fitness also offers private lessons, camps & clinics, family sport programs, and private group lessons. The program will soon be expanding to incorporate additional sports such as soccer, speed and strength training, track and field, as well as tennis. Program details: A co-ed camp for all ages and abilities. Partnering with local sports organizations to create a universal basketball camp for all! Program details: Challenge yourself and reach your basketball goals in summer 2024 with Ultimate Champions Basketball Academy Coach Michael Kerr and staff. Program details: Founded by Peter Panousopoulos, Parkway is a basketball organization and community based in Brooklyn, NY. We provide a basketball program and experience that aims to be second-to-none—with a trusted reputation of growth and success. The origins of Parkway began at Washington Park during the summer of 2020, playing full-court 1v1 with masks on and no rims. Program details: SFX Youth Sports is a volunteer-led organization in Brooklyn providing sports programs focusing on skills and teamwork. Our programs teach fundamental skills while promoting teamwork, good sportsmanship and respect for all. Our coaches and leadership follow a set of basic principles, and expect parents and guardians to reinforce these principles on the field. The CoEd Basketball League is a recreational league, for children ages 7-17, and we welcome players of all skill levels and experience. Steady Buckets | Various Locations in Lower Manhattan

Program details: Steady Buckets is an inclusive and innovative basketball and leadership development program, FREE for ALL kids aged 4-18. The program’s objective is to develop hard working, resilient, empathetic, and confident individuals who will make a positive contribution to their communities. Workouts are held 7 days per week and open for all players with special workouts offered for players younger than 4th grade, girls only and players on the autism spectrum.  Since 2010, over 20,000 players have participated in our fun and challenging workouts. Along the way we discovered a better approach to playing youth sports which minimizes adult involvement while empowering children to be leaders and take ownership of the game.
