Renderings for the new 26-story building at 69 Adams Street between York and Front Street adjacent to the Manhattan Bridge include 225 apartments ranging from studios to 2 bedrooms, 90 parking spaces and ground floor retail. Building amenities according to the website of the architects will be 24-hour concierge attended lobby, furnished roof deck, fitness center, lounge and gaming room.
At the next Community Board 2 meeting on June 17th, the committee and guests will receive a presentation on a proposal to transfer development rights from a City-owned parcel beneath the Manhattan Bridge to the owner of 69 Adams Street. The ULURP (Uniform Land Use Review Procedure) application for the development rights transfer is anticipated to be certified as complete in the spring. Community Board 2 will schedule a formal public hearing at that time.
