For all parents considering public school for their children: If your child was born in 2010, you should apply for public Kindergarten from January 7 to February 13, 2015 online, over the phone or in person nyc.gov/schools/kindergarten . The application deadline for Pre-K has not been published yet. You will be able to register your child born in 2011 for public Pre-K programs in spring 2015. Stay tuned for details.
