Community Joy Family Day: Free Childrens Books, food, readings, dancing and art-making

Celebrate community, creativity, and connection at Community Joy Family Day and Forum, a free afternoon of fun for Brooklyn neighbors of all ages. 
The day will include children’s book giveaways by Brooklyn Book Bodega, with art-making and reading by local children’s book author and illustrator Christopher Silas Neal. 
Make your own book and tell your own story with Booklyn!: Free hands-on book / zine making workshop for all ages, all day long. Materials provided to create a vision board for the future of Brooklyn you want to see. Live music and dancing care of Building Beats DJ Pr3tty P. Free food and drink provided + giveways and raffle.
