Stand Clear of the Closing Doors, Please is a one-of-a-kind storytelling performance that follows a lost toy, Catbear, as they travel through the tunnels of New York City on six different subway lines, looking for their owner. Each train has its own story, and Catbear experiences all the sights and sounds of New York City before landing home again.
Free Family Art Days are opportunities for the whole family to play, create, and explore through a variety of art forms. These events are free for the public thanks to the generous donations from Spellbound supporters and institutional grants.
Spellbound Theatre is New York's award-winning theater for very young children.
We bring original theater, storytelling and puppetry performances and workshops to schools, libraries, and performance venues in New York and across the country.
