Jane’s Carousel: Picnic benches can only be reserved by buying a birthday package up to 6 months in advance. A maximum of 4 tables can be reserved. The rest of the tables are come first serve for park visitors. Birthday package details: $30 per child on weekends, $20 per child on weekdays which includes 2 hours unlimited rides on the Carousel, one exclusive ride for only the birthday party, 2 hours reserved seating in the picnic grove or inside the pavilion on rainy/cold days. Minimum is 10 children, maximum is 30. Jane’s carousel accepts only 2 parties a day, a morning party at 11 am and an afternoon party at 3 pm (the afternoon party can stay as long as they want after the 2 hours). Pier 2 skating rink: Birthday party package available for $250 for up to 10 children including admission, skate rental, reserved seating, invitations, slice of pizza, drink and more. Contact [email protected] for birthday reservations. Opening hours: Monday – Thursday: 10 am to 10 pm. Friday/Saturday: 10 am to 10.30 pm and Sunday: 10 am to 7 pm.
Informal picnic: If you plan to celebrate with more than 20 people total anywhere in the park, you need to obtain a permit from Brooklyn Bridge Park which costs $25. More info here!
