Japan Village at Industry City includes Sunrise Mart, a marketplace where you can find fresh ingredients and unique goods from Japan, and an adjacent food hall, that serves up Japanese cuisine, from street foods like takoyaki to fresh handmade onigiris and udon. Industry City has recently announced the opening of ‘The Loft’ at Japan Village to celebrate the Japanese community within Brooklyn.
This second-floor expansion at their current location will utilize 20,000 square feet, serving as a center for exploring Japanese art, lifestyle and culture. Retailers so far include a Japanese bookstore, tea house and pottery studio. Industry City will continue to grow and include Japanese fabrics, educational classes, and more. The Loft is located on the 2nd floor of Japan Village and open seven days a week.
