The staff at Building Bridges is outstanding. We have our 4 yr old in their pre-K program. She is loving her school experience. She runs into the classroom and cries if she has a vacation. The teachers are devoted, nurturing, experienced and passionate about their work with the children. We have noticed her growth in her learning and how she enjoys school. We have enrolled her for the summer camp. I wished they had kindergarten in their school because I would sign my daughter up in a heart beat. We will miss the teachers and the directors when our little one ages out. We are so grateful for making our daughter’s first school experience so positive. – Alison L
Our three year old started at Building Bridges this past September and we have been thrilled with the program. My son loves school and loves the teachers. He generally hates leaving our apartment in the winter, but is always excited to go to school. He loves his teachers and all of the “projects” that they do. The weekly newsletter has pictures of the kids and describes all of the fun activities: art projects, cooking, music. The directors and the teachers are fantastic; they’re always extremely available and willing to to speak to you about your child, attentive to each child’s needs, and enthusiastic and engaged in the classroom. We’ll be back next year for pre-K and couldn’t be happier! – Jennie U
Our son has just completed his second year at this terrific school and I don’t have enough nice things to say about his school experience here. The teachers and directors go ABOVE and BEYOND to make this place magical. They always take special care to communicate anything of note that transpires during the school day. Our son is DELIGHTED to go to school…he’s made terrific friends, has developed a love for books and letters, and truly enjoys the music and songs that he learns at BB. (He’s always humming and singing a new tune that he’s learned from school). He also brings home with the most amazing artwork and cooking projects–creative, developmentally appropriate and so fun. The teacher regularly communicates what the curriculum is and is easily accessible. Parents are invited into the classroom to read and do special projects, which I love. The teachers at Building Bridges have been fantastic. I know that my son has loved his first school experience, and I am so glad we chose Building Bridges for him. He is now in his second year there. The school director is very experienced and attentive to the needs of each child. She also takes the initiative to let you know what she and the teachers observe in school and their thoughts about your child’s learning and social skills. – Laura B
