1hotels.com has published new renderings of the hotel and its amenities coming to Pier 1. The hotel in Brooklyn Bridge Park is one of three hotels the Starwood group (Sheraton, W Hotels etc.) has been developing in South Beach, Central Park and here at Pier 1. The ten-story hotel with 192 rooms is scheduled to open in 2016.
Rooms: The average room size is 300 square feet. Each room has a couch, seating area and mini bar. Eco-friendly Keetsa mattresses and 100% organic cotton bedding as well as a triple filtration water system throughout.
Floor-to-ceiling glass pane windows provide stunning views and welcome natural light into each guest room.
Rooftop & 10th floor bar: The Roof at 1 boasts views of the East River, Brooklyn Bridge Park and Manhattan skyline, making it the perfect urban retreat. The rooftop features a bar and lounge where guests can sit in rocking chairs while sipping a cocktail or snuggle up beside our fire pits with a glass of wine.
Restaurant: Farm-to-table with spanish flair and Brooklyn spirit. Farm-stand fresh ingredients and delicious preparations by chef Seamus Mullen at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge Park offers unique menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Wedding, business meetings, girls’ or guys’ night out.
