More than 30,000 runners will take over the streets this Sunday for the 2026 NYC Half from Prospect Park via the Brooklyn Bridge to Times Square. While the NYC Half Marathon historically crossed the Manhattan Bridge, the route was officially changed in 2025. The runners now cross the Brooklyn Bridge instead, meaning the Manhattan Bridge remains fully open and actually serves as a primary alternate route between the boroughs during the event.
