Discover Kinder Prep Montessori’s brand-new, private Pre-K program in Brooklyn Heights, where kindergarten preparation meets exploration, creativity, and the joy of childhood.
Pre-K marks an important milestone in a child’s early education. At Kinder Prep, we make sure it counts.
Designed for children ages 4–5, our new Pre-K classroom blends Montessori-inspired learning with Creative Curriculum, bringing together early reading, writing, mathematics, and hands-on discovery. With certified educators and staffing above required ratios, children receive the individualized attention they need to build confidence, independence, and a strong foundation for their early school years.
Here’s what sets Kinder Prep apart:
🌿 Brooklyn Bridge Park as an extension of the classroom. Daily outdoor adventures encourage exploration, movement, discovery, and hands-on learning beyond the classroom walls.
✨ 11 specialist-led Enrichment classes, all included in tuition. French, Spanish, Science Lab, Chess & Abacus, Soccer, Cooking, Music, Puppetsburg, and more introduce children to new interests and experiences throughout the week.
🕒 Full-day care from 7:30 AM–6:00 PM. A comprehensive Pre-K experience with extended hours designed around the needs of busy Brooklyn families.
🍎 Fresh, nutritious meals prepared daily. Balanced meals are included in tuition, with no lunch packing required.
💛 A school community that goes beyond drop-off and pickup. Daily classroom photos and updates, Parents’ Date Nights, seasonal celebrations, and special events keep families connected and involved.
At Kinder Prep, we believe preparing for kindergarten shouldn’t mean rushing through childhood. Our program gives children the academic foundation they need while making room for the curiosity, friendships, creativity, and experiences that make these years unforgettable.
