The former record store at 57 Pearl Street is being converted in a boutique-y restaurant offering Italian food. The team will be serving pizza from a full-on pizza oven and other Italian specialties to eat in or take out. The restaurant which does not have a name yet will be opening at some point in December 2015.
Good Stock, a small local soup company, will be popping up in West Elm Market every Thursday for the next few months. They will be offering two soups and one side salads from 12-2:30pm every Thursday. They promise that by using good ingredients, proper technique, and never taking shortcuts, soup is no longer an afterthought.
PowerhouseArena will be leaving its current location in February 2016 as dumbonyc.com reports. It will be relocating to the former Gramercy Flower Shop space at 32 Adams Street in DUMBO. New plans for the current space have not been announced yet.
