Getting to the Brooklyn Navy Yard from DUMBO will be an easy one come spring. The Navy Yard will launch a free shuttle service to the York Street subway station that will run every 10 minutes.
The Dumbo Loop will connect the Navy Yard to the F Train at York Street and the A/C lines at High Street. This route, which has a round trip time of 24 minutes, will also include four stops within the Yard.
This transportation plan is not only great news for the Navy Yard work force but also for everybody planning to stop by Russ & Daughters which will anchor the food hall at Building 77 and shop at Wegman’s which will replace part of Admiral’s Row.
