First boats have arrived at new marina at Pier 5 and ONE°15 Brooklyn Sailing School officially opens May 7th for 2016. The school’s fleet is in the water and coaches are lined up ready to teach you how to sail in New York Harbor this summer. These are the two options they offer right now:
Taste of Sailing (3 hour sail)
This sailing session includes a basic introduction to sailing and a cruise around New York harbor. Learn the ropes and get a taste of the adventure that sailing has to offer. Great for first time sailors. Cost is $140.
Fundamentals of Sailing (2 day over one weekend)
This weekend course covers all the fundamentals to get you started on your sailing journey. After a combination of practical sessions you will have accomplished the first step in developing first-rate sailing skills. Cost is $550.
