The Made in NY Media Center by IFP has partnered up with Finnish company Reaktor to be home to their hugely successful free Reaktor Code School for kids. Reaktor Code School aims to familiarize 5 to 9 year old children with the basics of programming. No prior experience in coding is required and the instructors are Reaktor’s developers.
The next lesson will take place on June 19 from 2 to 4 pm at the NY Media Center on John Street in DUMBO. What to bring:
- A 5-9 year old
- Guardian
- Laptop with Wlan
The eager coders or their parents do not have to have any prior knowledge of coding or technology. You’ll receive an email regarding the status of your enrollment, the amount of seats is limited. Sign-up for lottery here
