Leaf Medical on Adams Street in DUMBO is hosting a 75 minute class, where you will learn everything you need to know about how to introduce solids to your little one in a safe, nutritious and fun way. You will walk away with knowledge of infant appropriate foods and portion sizes, a clear plan on how to introduce solids and transition to table foods, and some recipes to make your own baby food at home.
It will take place on March 17 from 12 to 1.15 pm. This class is intended for parents of children 4-12 months.
Teacher: Pediatric Nutritionist Nicole Silber, RD, CSP, CDN. Nicole is the Director of Pediatrics at Middleberg Nutrition, a nutrition and wellness practice in Manhattan. As a Registered Dietitian and a board certified specialist in pediatric nutrition, Nicole has managed the nutrition of hundreds of children and families. She has experience working with critically ill children on pediatric intensive care units, pregnant and breastfeeding women, as well as children and adults with feeding tubes, gastrointestinal disease, prematurity, cystic fibrosis, cardiovascular disease, food allergies, diabetes, and weight management issues.
