ASCENT at Heights Pediatrics is a six-month program split into two 12-week sessions, and offers a holistic approach to food and body concerns specific to children ages 9-14 years. We help young adolescents’ ascent to find balance between the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of life recognizing how each aspect affects the body. We approach each child as an individual and encourage growth, acceptance, and change. Participants will receive 3 medical visits with Dr. Silverblatt, 3 group sessions with a Nutritionist, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Movement Group and Art Therapy Group with a licensed mental health counselor.
