Your work in one sentence: Creating a kid’s hands-on environment where a zoo meets museum meets preschool meets magician laboratory.
Your children: I have four children. My three daughters range in age from 23 to 13, and my son Ryan is 10.
Where do your kids go to school: My kids attend Genesis Middle School and Xaverian High School, which are independent schools in Brooklyn.
Which neighborhood do you live in: I live in Bay Ridge.
What do you love about living in Brooklyn: As a native Brooklynite, I love everything Brooklyn offers, from restaurants to different cultures, diversity, kids’ venues, and now the Nets.
More information about your new business: We are calling all Science Party Animals! Learn about, touch, and hold different animals. You might even get to put an animal on your head! After that, we’ll move on to some awesome science experiments. What’s included: A two-hour rocking party experience is broken down into animal time, experiments, and food/cake. One host and two assistants will facilitate the activities. The children will work and participate in a biodiversity block for the first forty minutes. All attending children may touch and hold the animals. After the animal time, we’ll move on to the hands-on experiment portion of the event. The children will use various materials to create cool science projects. The joy on the kids’ faces while experimenting is priceless. The best part is that the children get to keep what they make. After an hour and twenty minutes of activity, we’ll clean up and head to the middle room for food. Parents are responsible for providing snacks, drinks, utensils, or food.
