Beginning in the Fall of 2026, Brooklyn Prospect High School currently located in Windsor Terrace will relocate to a custom-designed facility at 181 Livingston Street at the Wheeler Building in Downtown Brooklyn. Brooklyn Prospect is a K-12 charter school network with IB program in Brooklyn enrolling students by lottery.
The new high school facility will feature:
- Cutting-edge science laboratories equipped with the latest technology to elevate their STEM curriculum
- An NBA-sized gymnasium capable of hosting competitive games with spectator seating
- Professional-grade performing and visual arts facilities
- Diverse and specialized course offerings providing students with greater academic choices
- Community gathering spaces designed to nurture connection, collaboration, and school spirit
This location will bring the high school just 2 blocks away from two Prospect Schools: BPCS: Downtown Elementary School & BPCS: Downtown Middle School (80 Willoughby St.). The proximity to their Downtown campus means middle school students will gain access to the new gym facilities. They will share our building with St. Francis College, occupying floors below them, creating opportunities for academic partnerships, mentorship programs, and shared resources.
