Overview of car-free Open Streets in our neighborhoods this year

The Open Streets in Brooklyn are back in the spring! Our overview of car-free streets to walk around on, have lunch on and to play on! Open Streets will be in effect from April to November depending on the neighborhood.

Boerum Hill pedestrian-friendly streets

Hoyt Open Street returns on April 1st. Come to Hoyt street between State and Atlantic every weekend  from 12 to 11 pm until October for public programming, outdoor dining, & lots of fun! Stay on top of their summer program calendar on Instagram @atlanticavebk — at Hoyt Street.

Wyckoff Open Street between Hoyt and Bond on weekends only beginning July 1st from 9 am to 8 pm.

Brooklyn Heights pedestrian-friendly streets

Open Streets on Montague Street will be happening every Saturday in May, June, July and Saturdays from September 9th through October 28th. The streets between Clinton- Henry and Henry – Hicks will be closed to traffic between 10 am to 7 pm.

DUMBO pedestrian-friendly streets

Washington Street in DUMBO will be car-free 7 days a week starting on April 10 from 11 am to  9 pm. The DUMBO Family Games on Sundays with free activities, block building and crafts will kick off on Sunday, June 11.

Prospect Heights pedestrian-friendly streets

The Vanderbilt Open Street will be in effect every Friday from 5 to 10 pm and Saturdays, Sundays and Monday holidays from 12 to 10 pm starting April 21. Vanderbilt Avenue between Atlantic Avenue and Park Place.
