Petitions to sign for more public school seats in our neighborhood

DUMBO and Downtown Brooklyn are experiencing a residential building boom and a rapid population growth of school-aged children.

Over 1,800 new residential units are coming to the PS 8 school zone between 2015 and 2019. DUMBO and Brooklyn Heights will be home to over 500 additional elementary-school-aged children.

25,000 more people will be living in Downtown Brooklyn in 5 years and no new elementary school is planed for the neighborhood.
