Miami’s Sugarcane restaurant plans to open a location in the Empire Stores in June 2016. The restaurant with “three distinct culinary hubs—robata grill, hot kitchen and raw bar offers a shared experience via its menu of large and small plates, artisanal cocktails, and an extensive rum selection.” The restaurant plans to offer the exact same menu here in Brooklyn as in Miami and will also have outdoor seating overlooking Manhattan.
